Standard and Bespoke Handrails

To ensure compliance with the new Disability
and Discrimination Act 2004, “Service
providers” are required to make “Reasonable
Adjustments” to the physical features of
premises in certain circumstances.

When fitting automatic door operators, there
may be a need to install physical barriers to
avoid hazards on access routes.

Illustrated is one of Alpro’s many designs for
safety handrails which can be used to ensure
compliance with the new DDA legistation.

Manufactured in a variety of designs, the
barriers can be in a range of material,
complemented by an assortment of finishes.

Finished to the same high standard as all the
Alpro range of products, the barriers will
complete and overall package of measures
required under the DDA legislation, thereby
offering the “Total Alpro Access Solution”
